Accessibility statement
Last updated 13 June 2026
We want London SitRep to be usable by as many people as possible and aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML landmarks and a “skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus styles.
- A high-contrast dark palette; text scales with your browser zoom and font settings.
- Motion and animation are reduced automatically if your device requests reduced motion.
- Every data point is shown as text (lists and status cards), not only on a map.
Known limitations
The interactive maps are primarily visual. Where a map shows incidents, the same information is available as a text feed or status card in the same section (for example travel disruptions, security incidents and rail operator status), so the underlying data does not depend on the map. We are continuing to improve screen-reader support for map tooltips.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us at adam@ninesignals.com and we will do our best to fix it.
